It’s build-your-own-burrito night here. What’s your favorite burrito topping?

We have black beans made in the Multi-Cooker and then heated in the coated cast iron, Spanish rice made in the microwave cooker, tortillas in the tortilla warmer, and lots of toppings including lentil sprouts and avocado hot sauce.

I hope you are enjoying this beautiful spring despite any troubles you may be going through. These lilacs are from my yard and they are the sweetest smelling flower, I just can’t get enough of them. We are under a frost advisory so I may cut the rest of the blooms off so we can enjoy them inside.

If you’re from Missouri, take some time to visit the Runge Nature Center in Jefferson City. We took a field trip there and had a wonderful time learning about the different habitats that are in Missouri. There’s inside and outside exhibits and immersive natural activities for children like climbing on tree trunks and playing natural musical instruments. There’s fields of wildflowers and dense forests, and a fire tower. It’s worth a visit!
