I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: tidying is about far more than the aesthetics of your home.

Because once you learn how to tidy a drawer, a closet, or a playroom, you start realizing you can tidy other parts of your life too.

Your schedule.
Your finances.
Your job.
Your relationships.
Your habits.
Your goals.
Even the narratives you tell yourself.

Yesterday, I shared a series on Instagram Stories that sparked a huge response. So I screenshot them and put them into a carousel! It confirmed something I’ve believed for a long time:

People aren’t just trying to organize their homes. They’re trying to create space for what matters most.

That’s what I hope you’ll find here.

Not perfectly perfect. (Love you Martha Stewart)

Just practical strategies for clearing the clutter, solving real problems, and building a life that feels a little lighter, calmer, and more intentional.

I truly believe you can learn to tidy almost anything.

Which begs the question, what are YOU tidying up?

What a funny, funny DM. 🤣

I don’t spend my entire day cleaning. I don’t spend my entire day organizing. In fact, I’m embracing a season of naming what’s... enough.

And today on Tidy Tidbits, I’m talking about the concept of being organized... enough.

A lot of organization content online suggests that being organized means more space, more bins, more labels, more drawers, and more perfection. My family and I live in a 750-square-foot apartment. Those approaches simply aren’t realistic for us.

The alternative is the idea of organized... enough. It’s a philosophy that this Tidy Dad firmly stands behind.

At its core, organized enough means creating systems that solve problems in your life, are easy to maintain, and use items you likely already have around your home.

Because being organized isn’t about achieving perfection. It’s about creating a home that functions well enough for the life you’re actually living.

It’s time to embrace a season of organized... enough.
