🎄 Christmas Meal Planning Tips (So You Can Actually Enjoy the Day!)

✨ Plan your menu early – Decide what you’re making at least a week ahead so there’s no last-minute stress.
📝 Make one master grocery list – Check your pantry first and group items by store section to save time.
🥧 Prep what you can in advance – Chop veggies, make casseroles, pie crusts, or desserts a day or two ahead.
❄️ Use your freezer – Many sides, breads, and desserts freeze beautifully. Label everything!
⏰ Create a cooking timeline – Write down when each dish needs to go in the oven so nothing overlaps.
🍽️ Keep it simple – Not every dish has to be homemade. Store-bought shortcuts are okay!

In a hurry but still want fresh cookies?

Whip up a quick batch using any cake mix! Just mix in ½ cup of avocado oil and 2 large (or 3 small) eggs. Then fold in ½ cup of sprinkles or chopped candy for a fun twist. Bake at 350° for 10 minutes — and you’re done!

🦃 Fun Thanksgiving Prep Tips 🥧

1. Start prepping a few days early: Make your lists, thaw the turkey (fresh, never frozen, is better), and pre-make anything that can survive in the fridge.
2. Check your ingredients: Nothing says “holiday panic” like realizing you’re out of butter on Thanksgiving morning.
3. Clean out the fridge: You’re going to need space - a lot of space. Goodbye, mystery leftovers.
4. Sharpen your knives: You’ll feel like a pro chef, and also prevent the turkey from looking like it lost a fight.
5. Pre-chop what you can: Future you will be grateful.
6. Delegate wisely: Someone else can bring rolls; someone else can bring drinks.
7. Wear comfy clothes: Thanksgiving cooking is an athletic event - dress accordingly.
8. Turn on some music: Everything tastes better with your favorite music.
9. Hydrate: Choose water, coffee, or iced tea as your power source.
10. Prepping ahead equals a calmer Thanksgiving: The more you do before the big day, the more relaxing (and fun) your Thanksgiving will be!

Eating Out with Kids Without Losing Your Sanity 😅
Let’s be real…eating out with kids can feel like an Olympic event sometimes! Here are a few tricks that make things a little smoother (and even fun!):

1. Go early! Beating the dinner rush means faster food and fewer meltdowns.
2. Bring distractions. A few crayons, stickers, or small toys can be lifesavers while waiting.
3. Let them order! Encourage your kids to give their own order to the waiter because it helps build confidence and makes them feel grown-up.
4. Set the tone. A quick chat in the car about “restaurant manners” helps a lot more than you’d think.
5. Praise the good moments. Even small wins, like sitting quietly or saying thank you, deserve a high five!
At the end of the day, it’s not about perfect manners or spotless tables — it’s about making memories 😉
