⭐⭐⭐ 2026 Available Goat Kids ⭐⭐⭐

We have 5 Myotonic (Fainting) goat kids still looking for new pastures:

3 doelings
2 wethers

These kids are dam raised on pasture and rotated regularly as part of our grazing system. Our herd has been closed since 2022, and all goats are vaccinated for CDT.

Our goats are naturally horned and trained to electric fence, and they’re raised in a hands-on, managed system where they’re calm, and accustomed to their caretakers.

We keep this herd primarily for land management and pasture improvement, which means these kids are raised developing strong foraging skills.

The majority of our 2026 goat kids have already been reserved—these are the last 5.

Located in Jonesborough, TN.

Additional details can be found in the “Goats” section of our website, or send us a PM and we’re happy to help match you with the right fit.

And if you’re not ready this season but goats are on your homestead roadmap, you’re welcome to reach out to join our 2027 waitlist—we always start there before sharing availability publicly.

A few years ago, the girls and I planted this little garden just off our deck as an explosion of pink in their honor.

We planted roses for one daughter and lilies for the other because of their middle names. I added peonies for myself, and over the years, the borage has happily self-seeded and filled in the spaces between.

And this year?

This garden is an absolute showstopper—just like our girls.

So much of what we do here is focused on production. We plant for food, for pollinators, for soil health, for livestock, and for regeneration.

But this garden?

This one is for Mama.

Every time I look out into the backyard, I'm reminded how fortunate I am to be their mother and how quickly the years seem to pass.

So here's your reminder that not everything you plant has to be practical.

Plant for the pollinators. Plant for the pantry. Plant for the soil.

But don't forget to plant something simply because it brings you joy.

What's one thing you've planted that makes you smile every time you see it?

The most common questions I get about our rabbit tractors are:

“How hard are they to move?”
and
“Don’t the rabbits' feet get stuck in the wire?”

So I figured I’d just show you.

Keep in mind—I’m a 43-year-old mom pulling this tractor with one hand… while filming this video with the other.

This is an 8-rabbit tractor, and it takes about 10–15 seconds to move the whole thing.

And honestly? Moving rabbits is way easier than moving Cornish Cross (if you know, you know).

But we do it for the same reasons we do everything else here:
• fresh forage
• clean ground
• and space to do what rabbits do best

Right now we move this group of 8 every other day. Once they get a bit bigger, we'll switch to daily moves.

And if you are wondering if raising rabbits for meat is for you, I invite you to join our hands-on rabbit processing workshop in July which will allow you to start your meat rabbit journey by doing the hard part first, but under close guidance.

Visit the “Events” page of our website (link in bio) for all the details!
