PLOT TWIST: we offered the internet’s most judgmental llama balloon a dirty soda tonight… and she accepted.

Turns out even a llama serving that much side-eye can’t resist a Signature Sip. Verdict: approved. 🩷 Caught sipping under the lights at the Route 66 Centennial Balloon Festival, surrounded by the best-dressed hot air balloons in the Four States.

Moral of the story: our dirty sodas convert even the toughest critics.

We’ve teamed up with joplinlibrary Joplin Public Library on something we love: Potions Pages.

Fresh beans just walked through the door, and we are NOT being subtle about how excited we are.

Huge shoutout to Cottage Small Coffee Roasters for coming through with a fresh roast ahead of this weekend’s event. This is exactly why we partner with them, because “good enough” was never the plan. When we’re building something to hand to you, we want the best ingredients behind it, full stop. No shortcuts, no compromises, no settling for mediocre when quality is on the table.

Cottage Small is our preferred coffee vendor, and you can find them right alongside us (like literally he’s the booth next to me) at Joplin Empire Market every Saturday, 10am–2pm. Fresh roasted, not sitting on a shelf for months — that’s the difference, and you can taste it in every cup.

For years, these bottles have been quietly turning into something bigger — iced lattes at the espresso machine, dirty sodas layered deep, sparkling lemonades catching the afternoon light, green teas dressed up with mochi and cookie crumble. Small-batch syrups, built one pump at a time into whatever the moment calls for.
