We’re keeping a close eye on next summer’s peach crop, and here’s where we stand:�Georgia orchards have reached 247 chill hours so far out of the 800 hours needed for a healthy, productive peach season.
Why do chill hours matter?�Peaches need a certain number of cold hours during the winter (below 45°F) to “wake up” properly in the spring. These chill hours help the trees rest, reset, and prepare to bloom.�The good news? We’re still early in the season, and there’s plenty of time to reach the chill-hour target. We’ll keep you updated as we go!
🌴 Expansion Update — Get Ready!�We’re excited to share that Palm Peach Co. will be offering more drops across Florida this upcoming summer. More cities, more pickup spots, and more opportunities to get your hands on fresh Georgia peaches straight from Fort Valley, Georgia.
