We knew this day was coming… we just didn't know it'd be last night. Jaxton went dirt biking and came home with a dislocated, broken elbow. He popped it back into place himself, which, yes, we're still processing. The ER confirmed the break, so next stop is the orthopedic. Honestly? We drove to the middle of nowhere for our anniversary, and accidentally found the cutest town in Montana. A weekend in Philipsburg, Montana, a tiny old mining town with colourful historic storefronts, mountain views and small-town charm everywhere you look. It's the perfect quiet getaway when you just want to escape with your person. Save this for your next road trip, and tag the person you'd run away to the middle of nowhere with.

We finally did the thing we've been putting off for way too long. New one-ton truck, officially ours! Huge shout out to Randy and the whole crew at Beartooth Ford in Columbus. This is our fourth Ford from them, and they never disappoint. This beauty's about to make farm life a whole lot easier, while the old Dodge becomes our trusty water-hauling workhorse. Woke up to the first snow of the season and an empty pasture. Guess who broke everyone out again? First snow on the ground, and the cows were gone. Me and Ollie tracked them up to the high pasture behind the house, all thanks to our brindled escape artist who's been a total terrorist since we brought him back up. Got Taffy milked, got everyone moved, but they refused to follow me home. We'll try again when it's less muddy!Think we'll ever tame this brindled troublemaker? Follow along to find out.

When the barbecue ends but the night's just getting started! After a full day of barn life with the horses, Rob, and Jaxton out ripping around on dirt bikes, Ollie fired up a barbecue with Kandie and Rob. But the night didn't stop there! Rob rounded up some extra goodies, and before long they'd turned the indoor fireplace into the perfect s'mores station. Watching and listening to this crew was pure entertainment!.

When your favorite pony goes home, but you show up with a smile anyway! Collins's favorite pony, Violet, went home this week, so she's been missing her something fierce. But Collins came up today to ride, show off her show clothes, and have the best time. Big thanks to Ollie for taking her out and showcasing her beautifully! We're working on those lead lines so Collins can head into the show ring soon. And that huge smile? It never left her face! POV: you hate going to the big city... until this happens. Took the kids to Bozeman expecting chaos and somehow found the calmest little pond. Feeding ducks, happy kids, and a reminder that good days sneak up on you. Tell me your favorite slow-down spot in the comments.

The dogs knocked the hot wire down, and guess who went on an adventure...The pigs are out again because the dogs took out the hot wire. Fun fact: chasing pigs back home stopped being cute about three escapes ago. Comment if you know the struggle, and follow for more farm chaos!
