Last fall, a friend asked if I wanted to sell jam at the St. Pat’s craft fair. I had no idea what to expect, but I figured I would give it a shot. I had been giving it away for years anyway, so why not try to sell it? I made 96 jars and sold 60, so I decided to try another fair… then another… and now I’m hooked (and sold out)!
This is a lot of work, but I truly love sharing something I make - watching someone taste a sample and instantly want a jar never gets old!
Along the way, not everything has been smooth sailing. I have had some obstacles and learned the lesson that not everyone who is “trying to help” is really trying to help. But honestly, those moments only strengthened my determination and have taught me a lot. Thankfully, the good far outweighs the bad. Most people I have met have been incredibly supportive, offering guidance, encouragement, and kindness that I will never forget.
And finally, the people in this picture. I absolutely could not do any of this without them. Their love, help, and constant support means everything to me. I am truly grateful for each one of them (and all of our amazing customers)! ❤️
