🐓Announcing PASTURE RAISED CHICKENS for pre oder for 2026!! 🐓🍗

Imagine cooking the best tasting chicken you’ve ever had this time next year, the knowledge and joy of feeding your family with local, healthy, high quality chicken for grilling, salads, and soups!

This year we raised and butchered 40 pasture raised chickens for meat. The butcher was so impressed by their health and size - some of them were pushing 12 pounds!! (For reference a typical whole chicken at the store is around 6 pounds).

We’re so proud of the fresh wholesome diet we give our chickens of fresh green grass, bugs, and aiding their nutrition with pellets and grain every day, and the freshest water from our well on our homestead. We also of course ensure a rigorous workout routine to keep the oxygen and blood flowing for healthy bones, muscles, and meat! 😉 lol just kidding, but not really (by rigorous workout, we mean ushering them out of the hen house everyday to make sure they get out side to run and play around… no chickens doing push ups here.)

There is just something about nature and being surrounded by a herd of animals while following you through the pasture that is truly SO liberating.

We recently added four new mamas to our herd. They are due between May and June. We can’t wait for more life to be added to our farm! We will continue to keep you all updated on the little babes!

The days of spring bringing warmer weather, green grass, young calves, and sunshine are right around the corner. For now, we will continue to use this season as a time to enjoy the stillness of winter, plan for spring calving, crop planting, and rest before the summer season. ☀️
