So sorry to hear that this place has closed!
Greetings,
We welcomed a new boarder a few weeks ago. Bandit came from Michigan to new horse owners. All are settling in really well. Bandit is an Appaloosa with a beatuiful blanket and a very friendly happy fellow.
This past Sunday we lost Manly. He was the retired circus Percheron that we had for 13 years. He was 31 and laid down on his stiff side and could not get up. He was given the opportunity to stand and had great support from the vet, fellow boarders and neighbors. He was of great heart and spirit, a wise soul and it was an honor to have had him as my friend. He will be greatly missed by many.
Waiting for more spring days and some rides outside to enjoy the transition of nature.
Harmony and Peace to all!
Corrymela has been a wonderful place to be and share my love of horses. Tony and Beth, owners, could not be finer people. Horses, arena, and property are immaculately maintained. Horses, cats, dogs and people are treated with respect and love. I would highly recommend it as a boarding facility for anyone's horse.
Greetings!
It has been a long winter with many challenges, but we will have spring soon. Horses are doing some shedding...a good sign! If anyone knows of a well trained beginner horse for sale, I have a client who would be a great owner. The horse will live here with us, either mare or gelding is fine, preferably not over 15.1 H, able to do a little showing at therapeutic shows. I often do not get the chance to get on computer, so please phone me at 260-347-9464.
Does anyone know anything about the Shrine Horse show this year?
We are glad to see Robin back from her California vacation - we missed her while she was away, but got to take a stay-cation with her as she sent updates of her fun times.
Another great fall day!
I have a used Courbette Obrist Fels Bach all purpose saddle (17 " seat) for sale, complete with leathers, irons, saddlepad, girth and bridle. $575.00 for the package.
It has been happy and busy here with horses getting great rides, massages, farrier visits, saddle fittings, and lots of fun in their free time in the pastures. My Foxtrot got to meet the neighbors' new speed horse (very cute!) while coming home on a ride down the road last evening. Welcome to the neighborhood "Billy"!
Thank you Shirey for inviting Diane and Janice to ride here today.
So glad we had the opportunity to enjoy the indoor for warm-up, get acquainted and then the trail ride. Beautiful day!
A better shot of Beth and Foxtrot
