You will experience the real Almeria and you won't want to go home! In my previous life, I was an IBMer who graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in Finance. Although I was born and raised in Alaska, I couldn't wait to get to away from the cold and into the sun. While living in Arizona, I developed my love for travel, going with friends to different parts of Mexico, and traveling with a friend to celebrate the holidays in Jakarta and Bali Indonesia. I loved discovering the customs, the food, and the people of new places. IBM attracted me to work for them because of the opportunities to live and work abroad and I was able to do just that. I had the amazing opportunity to live in Malaysia and I took full advantage of living in the heart of SE Asia and traveled to all through Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Bali, Taiwan, and China. In addition, I traveled to Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia, India, and Spain for different assignments and I always took the opportunity to stay and explore.

​Now. I am living a quieter life in southern Spain and loving it! I am excited to meet you and show you around my lovely second home, Almería! I will also be organizing trips to SE Asia in 2026. As I mentioned, I love experiencing a country to the fullest. Exploring the food, the drinks, the culture, THE PEOPLE, and taking in the beauty of a place, whether that is a city with cute cafés, a hidden cover or a beautiful hike into the mountains. I can't wait to share my discoveries with friends like you, especially those few have yet to discover.

Cheffing for other women’s retreats get me so excited for hosting my own!! It’s such a special experience and journey to share, that I can’t recommend enough to anyone to treat themselves and do at least once in your life. You won’t regret it, especially if you do your research and find the right match.
