Every job has parts you dread but have to do anyway. This isn’t one of them.

When we brew great coffee from roasters like Luna Coffee, Little Wolf Coffee Roasters (hiding in the shadows), Coffee Bros., Onyx Coffee Lab, and ilse coffee (prepped for the freezer) we can call it “research.” Difficult work, but someone has to do it.

Drop one of your favorite roasters in the comments and maybe we’ll try them next… for research.

It might not look like much. We’re still 8-10 bags shy of a full pallet, but it’s a win for us.

It’s easy to compare your chapter 2 to someone else’s chapter 22. When you do, you’ll miss the joys unfolding in your own story.

We started with 50 lb. bags; now we’re getting those cool burlap ones that hold 132 lb. Here’s to our Chapter 2.

“A little bit of this” is sourcing green coffee worth the trouble.

“A little bit of that” is building a roast profile for that specific coffee, then cupping it. Reroasting it. Cupping it again. Until we’re willing to put our name on it.

All so you enjoy the best part. Drinking it.
