Airways Brewing - Two Locations in Kent, WA: The Tap Room & Brewery and The Bistro & Beer Garden This is where the beer is made!

Our 10 barrel brewhouse is really busy cranking out tasty beers for you to drink in our attached Tap Room, Bistro a few miles away, and at other local places serving great beer. We’re happy to give tours when we can, but if you really, really want one you should email us ahead. Although we don’t have a kitchen here, you’re always welcome to bring in your own food, or order food to be delivered fro

m nearby restaurants. We also carry some light snacks to go with your beer. We can accommodate private parties with advance notice. Email [email protected], or fill out the reservation form on the Tap Room page of our website.

We’re really excited for our friends from Burien’s Logan Brewing. In the next coming months, they’ll open their second location in the space that was our Tap Room & Brewery on S 212th Street. This is a big move for them, and it’ll be great to have them fill the void in Kent that was left with our final departure (see what we did there).

Follow them to keep up with their plans. And, if you’re out and about around Burien this afternoon, a group of Airways regulars will be hanging out, starting around 4 to enjoy some of Logan’s great beers while catching up on life’s happenings post-Airways.

Will we see you Thursday? We've been given the chance to open The Tap Room & Brewery once more for you to enjoy some of your favorites one more time. Some kegs are down to the last ones, some we have more of. A couple of notes on how things will work:

1. Growlers are limited to Jumbo Juice and Space Church IPAs until 6p. After that, all beers available for growlers until the kegs blow. Bring your own growlers, as we don't have any of them, nor do we have crowlers.

2. We'll have the following beers on tap: Kellerbier, Bockbier, Jumbo Juice IPA, Sky Hag IPA, Space Church IPA, New Shepard Pale, New Glenn Kolsch-style beer.

If you're a Mug Club member, feel free to bring your glass with you. Otherwise, all beer is served in luxurious, 16 oz plastic. cups.

We did long, sad goodbyes two weeks ago. This is a chance to hang out as a group one more time - a bonus day we didn't think we'd have. So, smiles only. No tears.

If you were with us the last two official days we were open (just before Thanksgiving), you may have heard there might possibly be one more day where we could try to go through the remainder of the beer in the cooler. Now that we've signed our exit papers we know that day is Thursday, 12/12.

We'll open at 3p and have a hard stop at 8 - goodbyes have already been said, so let's just drink some beer.

Sure, we could be sad it's our last regular day of operations. Instead, let's get together and celebrate all that Airways Brewing has been to the Kent community over the last 14.5 years. We'll do it one last time this afternoon from 3-8p and we look forward to raising a glass or two with you to remember all the good times we had.

Today we celebrate all of the aerospace workers here in Kent. Stop by The Tap Room & Brewery between 3p and 8p, show your ID from any aerospace company and get $1 off each pint you purchase of our space-themed beers (New Shepard, New Glenn, Space Church).

Plus, we have power - which means heat, light and beer.

In our final couple of weeks, we’re holding a couple of events and would love to see you then, or any days between now and our final day of Wednesday, November 27th

Wednesday, November 20: Blue Day – Show your employee ID from one of the local aerospace companies and get $1 off each pint you purchase of any of our space-themed beers: New Shepard Pale, New Glenn Kölsch and Space Church IPA.

Tuesday, November 26: Mile High Mug Club Holiday Party: We’ve moved up our holiday party to the day before we close. Details to come in a post next week and, if you’re a member, look for an email in your inbox soon. We will be open regular hours and to the public that day as well, so even if you’re not a club member, come on by.

Wednesday, November 27: Our final day of operations. We’ll be open at 3pm. Stop by and have some beer and share memories with our founders as they’ll be behind the bar with Noa. Our original server Greg will also be on hand and we’re sure he’ll be fired and rehired multiple times throughout the day.

Everything in life has a beginning and end. After 14.5 years, the time has come for us to move on. Our last day of operations at The Tap Room & Brewery will be Wednesday, November 27th – the day before Thanksgiving. We’ll have a couple of special event nights before then that we’ll let you know about over the next week.

I know many of you will be asking why: A lot of it comes down to rising costs, people drinking less (or something besides beer), etc.- something we also hear from talking with a lot of our brewery owner friends around the area. The future for many breweries and tap rooms is cloudy right now, so please support the places you enjoy going as much as you can.

We have truly appreciated you and the support you’ve given us throughout the years. Not seeing you on a regular basis will be the hardest part of saying goodbye. So, we invite you to come join us one or several times before the 27th.

Don't be frightened - it might be our strongest lager, but it's only 6.1% and it's on tap starting today at The Tap Room & Brewery.

Brewed with 100% Franconian Pilsner malt and hopped with Hallertauer Perle, this beer is balanced and quaffable - great for cooler weather days.

The Bistro & Beer Garden's last day of operations is upon us. We'll be open from 11am-8pm today. Come visit us and say goodbye. Thanks to all of you who have supported us in Downtown Kent throughout the years.

We're looking for two more volunteers to help The Furry Faces Foundation during the Paws & Paint event this Thursday, October 24th from 5-7pm at The Tap Room & Brewery. If you love being around cute, costumed dogs you'll have a great time.
