I’ve always said, we’re not in the cattle business selling to people, we’re in the people business selling cattle… and we sure enjoy the people part of this business!

THANK YOU to everyone who helped make our 2026 Pasture to Plate Performance sale one to remember! We were very grateful for beautiful weather, a great crowd and a great auction!
We are humbled to have genetics heading to 10 states ranging from neighbors right down the road to new customers who live 1600 miles away in Fitzgerald, GA!

What a great long weekend Jules and I had traveling through NE,SD,ND dropping bulls off at a bull stud, visiting another bull stud, making herd visits to Limousin breeders, picking up a couple of heifers from Hager Cattle Co and enjoying fellowship with some fine cattle people!!! Good Cattle+Good People+Good Weather makes for a Great Weekend!!!

Ochsner Land & Cattle hosted their "Pasture to Plate Performance Sale, Vol III, March 21, near Kersey, Colorado. Kevin & Julie Ochsner, and their family, have been breeding Limousin & LimFlex cattle in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains of eastern Colorado for many years. The Ochsner program is centered around "balance," and not chasing extremes in any one class of trait. The sale title-Pasture to Plate Performance-is more than a catch phrase. They understand that cattle must be born easy, grow fast, perform in the feed yard, and-ultimately-be a positive eating experience for the consumer. This year's sale bull offering was highlighted by the National Western Stock Show Grand Champion pen of three LimFlex bulls. The Ochsner bulls are eye appealing, performance cattle that bring leading genomics and data to the table also. Ochsners dug deep into the replacement pen of heifers to offer a fancy, maternal driven set of females anyone would be proud to take home. Thank you to the great crowd of new and repeat customers who participated in the sale!
