🌻🍯 BUCKWHEAT HONEY IS ALMOST HERE! 🍯🌻

If all goes according to plan, we are about ONE WEEK away from harvesting our Buckwheat Honey! 🐝❤️

The bees have been working hard, and we can't wait to see what this year's harvest looks (and tastes!) like. Buckwheat honey is one of our favorites — dark, rich, bold, and definitely a little different from your typical honey. 🍯

We're keeping our fingers crossed for good weather and happy bees over the next week!

We've been a little quiet on social media lately... but don't worry—the bees have been making up for it! 🐝🍯

While we've been busy behind the scenes, our girls have been working from sunrise to sunset, filling supers one tiny drop at a time. Right now, our hives are standing nearly 6 feet tall, and they're still bringing in nectar!

We have just over one month left in the honey season before harvest begins, and we can't wait to see what these incredible little workers accomplish. Every warm, sunny day means a little more honey for the jars.

Thank you for following along with our beekeeping journey and supporting our small farm. Stay tuned—we'll be sharing hive updates, harvest photos, and of course, fresh honey as we get closer to extraction season!

You can now find it at the new Old Apple Orchard Cattle Company store in Casco — conveniently located right across from the Village Kitchen. They will be open this friday from Noon to 5pm and on Saturday during the Casco Rummage Sales so stop in and check them out!

The bees decided spring couldn’t come soon enough this year 🐝🌼

They showed up early, but no worries—we got them all settled in and snug in their new hives. Now they’re busy doing what they do best, and we’re excited to watch the season unfold from here.
