Excuse my nerding out, but I am an admitted bug watcher. You heard that right - I look for and watch bugs lol. Maybe that’s why beekeeping has always been such a passion of mine. I am always amazed at these little tiny creatures, we tend to overlook, are some of the most beautiful creatures out there. I heard about this metallic green bee and I hardly believed it, but look who I found pulling some pollen off of our Spanish Needle plant this morning? Isn’t she just beautiful!? Green Metallic Sweat Bee.

🥚News from the coop🐓Our little girls are growing up! We’ve got some “teenager” eggs all! Look at them laying right next to the big girls. They learned quick! Our girl Felicity is broody this summer and has decided to brood some eggs, so we’re letting her do her thing and hope to see some babies soon. And finally, turns out our new Silky is a rooster! He’s crowing and doing the happy dance with the girls. He sounds a lot like a squeaker toy lol. Good times at the ranch!
