Hazel had a litter of piglets solo the other night/ early morning 14 total 2 stillborn 12 alive day 1. As of today 8 alive, farming isn’t easy and there isn’t always a rhyme or reason why things happen but thats how it goes. We will get up and keep moving forward.

Busy weekend I left to go out of town for the weekend and as I pulled into the driveway of my destination I got a message saying there was piglets being born. Janet had 12 colored piglets. Good thing Brent and the girls stayed to hold down the fort. And within 30 mins of coming back home we had someone come to buy a boar and also ended up leaving with a gilt they will have the best of fun in Luck Wisconsin.

Sold two batches of piglets last night and early this morning. 7 went to New Ulm and 2 went to St. Clair.

We had 11 babies yesterday. My mom went to fill water tanks in the morning after i did chores and found a surprise in the mud yard. So i had to leave work to bring them all in the barn right before the 1in of rain we got. So happy Laney picked a dry spot to have them and that all the other pigs included the boar left them alone. She wasn’t due for another week.

We met a very nice couple that come from Pipestone MN last night to get a couple gilts for future breeding.

We had one of the sweetest little girls come with her family to pick up three piglets the other evening. She asked her parents everyday when she was coming to get her new baby Pigs. Always super nice to have new clients.
