The new Dave & Buster’s at The Pinnacle in Bristol opens tomorrow! Got a chance to check it out a little early, so I took the camera along to show y’all around. Tried some food, played a few games, and checked out what all they have going on. Little vlog style action!

We’re wrapping up Restaurant Week with a stop at Two Dads Cafe & Catering in downtown Kingsport! Got to go behind the scenes, try one of their burgers, and finish things off with a banana split! This is just a good little hometown spot serving up homemade food with some even better people. They’ve been part of the Kingsport community for years, and I can see why folks keep coming back. Couldn’t ask for a better way to wrap up Restaurant Week!

Josh at Chef’s Pizzeria had us making pizza AND homemade ice cream. We went behind the scenes, put together one of their pizzas from start to finish, then switched over and got into the ice cream side of things too.

Chef’s has been around Kingsport for a long time, and this was one of those stops where it was just cool getting to see a little more of what goes on behind the counter. Good food, good people, and definitely another local spot worth checking out during Restaurant Week.

We’re getting straight to the food at Mustard Seed Cafe! From their quiches and tomato pies to a killer Reuben and homemade desserts, there’s plenty to check out at this cozy little spot in Kingsport. We went behind the scenes earlier today, but this one’s all about the food!

Center Street Grill & Smokehouse has been recommended to me for a long time, and I finally got to check it out for Restaurant Week. Jeff had a big batch of wings going on the smoker, we made some Cowboy Bites, and he threw together one heck of a bourbon burger with barbecue sauce, pepper jack and grilled onions. That burger was one of the better ones I’ve had in a while, but the spicy peach sauce might’ve been the biggest surprise of the day. Great food across the board, a super friendly staff, and just a really good spot all around.

If you’ve ever walked into Kernelcopia and seen that wall of popcorn, you’ve probably wondered how in the world they come up with all of those flavors.

For this Restaurant Week feature, I got to go behind the scenes at Kernelcopia in Kingsport and see some of the process for myself. From the kettle to the finished popcorn, this was a really fun one to film. Hope y’all enjoy getting a look behind the counter at another great local spot.
