Platter & Bloom has been incredibly busy lately creating beautiful spreads for graduation parties, bridal showers, and even gatherings honoring loved ones lost. It is such a privilege to be part of life’s biggest celebrations and most meaningful moments.

One of our favorite parts of this season is incorporating the abundance of fresh herbs and edible flowers growing right here at Barbour Farm into our charcuterie boards and grazing tables. Every creation is designed with fresh, seasonal touches that make each event feel unique and special.

Historically, Matthiola incana has been enjoyed for centuries in Mediterranean regions, where edible flowers were commonly used in both cooking and herbal traditions. In older European gardens, Stock flowers were valued not only for their beauty and scent, but also for adding color and charm to the table.
