Klamath Falls BMX’s Lap-A-Thon is this Saturday morning! Racers of all ages, including some of our youngest riders, are making laps and raising money for a dedicated balance bike track. On race days our balance bike racers have a short practice session followed by their race, then they clear the track for the older riders to compete. Creating a new space for these riders, commonly 1-5 years old, lets them race, ride, and play longer.

Bogatay Construction, Inc. has generously offered a dollar for dollar match up to $5,000. The more we’re able to raise, the better we can make the new balance bike track for future BMX racers. Beyond bringing in an enormous pile of dirt, equipment rental, and countless hours of volunteer time we also need to upgrade some lighting, adjust drainage, and more. Every dollar raised will go right into this new space.
