We may be getting some really cold weather for Christmas but the greenhouse is looking more like Spring!
Tulips are progressing nicely!
Last Spring I planted out over 100 hellebores in my naturalization area.
With the heat and drought I thought I may have lost them all because I didn't water them.
Imagine my surprise when I walked around and found a bunch of them growing!
Plants are pretty resilient!

Managed to kneel long enough to get some ranunculus and anemone starts in the ground.

Last week I put some tulip bulbs in a hydroponic tray and slipped it into the cooler.
Swapped out the water today and we have roots!
We may have some tulips available after the holidays.

Picked up some temporary tattoos for the kid today from and they look amazing.
Dropped off some items to be wrapped and did a little more local shopping .
Did a little early Christmas shopping this morning with the kid.
Gonna head back and grab this beauty later this week and support more local artists.

On 11/24/2018 I became a widow at 34. He left behind myself and our child to pick up the pieces and find our new normal.
I share this to remind people to cherish those you love, especially on this day.
I also encourage you to sign up to become a donor. We were able to save 3 other people with donations which allowed them more time to cherish with their loved ones.
So again, enjoy your turkey day and take the time to really sit and enjoy them.

I didn't know him until this past winter, when he wandered over and was wondering what I was growing in my greenhouse.
He loves to grow and propagate plants just as much as me and he's full of knowledge.

I don't use pesticides on our flowers. By using lavender it will attract the ladybugs who love to eat aphids, which can be a problem during the growing season.

A lot of flowers went up for drying today!
3 rows of dahlia tubers dug and washed. While it's chilly tomorrow they'll be cut and stored to replant next year.

I tried a little experiment this year.
Left my Anemone corms in the ground and wanted to see if they would come back and maybe produce a late fall crop.
