We want to thank the City of Oak Ridge, one of our most important Lavender Festival sponsors!

😎 See all these folks? The City helps us prepare for your safety by closing most of Broadway Avenue (and police officers will be on hand to help at the open intersections). Next week, city workers will be setting out cones and barriers, electrical hookups, water stations and more! We simply could not do this without them. 🙏 Thank you!

Just a little of whats been going on around the farm the last couple of weeks!

Lavender Growers Month officially started June 15th!!!

Whether it's prepping the soil, planting and pruning the lavender, harvesting and storing, or participating in public events, this month is about recognizing everyone involved in growing the lavender - farm owners, work staff, and family helpers!

But, in real life, growing lavender is more than one month. It starts with that first purchase which leads to many more, branching into different varieties, and creating products with your locally grown lavender! It becomes a community of lavender growers/lovers not only in your community but across the U.S. through the US Lavender Growers Association. The USLGA is where we can ask questions and learn from each other!

We are so happy to be a part of the USLGA!!

The lavender is blooming and the photography has started! And, of course, it rains. Had a great photo shoot tonight with a family singing in the rain!

For my photographer friends, the lavender normally starts blooming in June and that's the best time to bring your clients. I'll be using the Sessions App for appointments and will be opening it in early May. Send good vibes for great weather in May for the lavender!!! We appreciate everyone!!!
