So I had posted a little bit ago asking for reviews on this incubator. I did set 55 eggs in here. Some were my eggs and some were shipped. I had to toss 15 of the shipped eggs which that happens. Was it from shipping or due to this incubator, who knows.
I put 3 thermometers in there. 1 left front, 1 center, 1 right back.
Left front stayed 99-99.5
Center was always at 96-97 (the fan was really strong so it caused the center to stay cool)
Back was 99.5-100.5
I put eggs in lockdown 2 days ago and I’ve had 1 egg hatch and no others pipped so far. The egg that hatched was mine.
For $517 this is most definitely being returned. I’d much rather use 4 separate maticoopx like I usually do. I wouldn’t recommend due to the temperature fluctuations and differences.
Also a few other things. It was near impossible to hold humidity. The only thing the incubator shows is temp. It does not read humidity or have a countdown on days. So for the price definitely not worth it.
