While in Louisiana, we decided to take a little drive to Venice (as far south as we could) which led us to this lovely marina where Crawgators was a welcome stop to enjoy the sunny day with a little snack. Snapper throat is not something either of us has had before but we’re sure glad we took our waitresses recommendation!! Perfectly seasoned & tons of tender meat to share meant that we got to enjoy some drinks while we watched the boats unload their catches of the day. What a nice experience!!

Vacay content incoming! was our first breakfast out in New Orleans this past week & it was everything we expected & more! Grits & greens for me, biscuit sandwich for T & carrots with yogurt & granola to share….phenomenal! Don’t skip the yogurt!!!

Blowing Rock, NC may be a small town, but they have some yummy food! We enjoyed a delightful anniversary dinner a couple of weekends ago comprised of watermelon salad to start, pecan crusted NC trout with grits & veggies for me, and pasta inferno with Italian sausage, shrimp & pepperoncinis for T. We couldn’t recommend stopping by more if you’re ever in the area!!!
