New I CA RO! Emerging from the burgeoning enoteca scene in Rome set out to create a new type of Roman winery in 2019. Their small vineyard is located south of the city overlooking Lago di Nemi, one of several volcanic crater lakes in the area. Biodynamic farming and natural fermentations produce wines that are vibrant, alive and extremely refreshing. Try all three at this week’s Friday tasting! Starts at 5pm

Last September we were fortunate enough to spend an afternoon with Laurence Alias and Pascale Choime at Closeries des Moussis during a busy harvest. These two talented women have been making exciting wines in the Haut-Médoc since 2009, showing amazing freshness and vitality while keeping alcohol levels relatively low. This is a side of Bordeaux that is quite rare to find. We just received a small shipment via our friend and are excited to share them for the first time in Knoxville. Merci .des.moussis
