These mottled babies are my only mottled growouts and now I’m attached, they both have the best personalities! Mottled has been my biggest struggle since starting with silkies, it seemed that all was against me completing my breeding pen. One thing after another taking out my growouts and never getting an understanding of how or why. I’ve been so determined since to make sure I accomplish what I want with my mottled. 🤞 I can get the hatching eggs I need for it! Tag any breeders that have mottled so I can sift through what I’m looking for!

Happy Sunday! At the moment I’m still figuring out odd and ends of what I want to continue with my pens, majority of sales won’t be till the new coop is built, once that’s built it will be SO much easier to separate colors and maintain a single coop rather than 4! Right now I’m considering hatching eggs out and selling chicks, mostly since I will be home more the next few months!
IMPORTANT!!! (If anyone knows a reputable breeder with mottled and lavender hatching eggs PLEASE let me know)!! I currently am not getting enough eggs daily from my breeders to fill my incubator at once!

SO EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE!!! Lavender hatching eggs are going to be available!!! I’ve been watching fertilization rates and they are 90-100%. let me know if you are interested in lavender hatching eggs! This breeding pen has a lavender roo over black split hens and one lavender hen! Not the biggest breeding pen but it’s guaranteeing great fertilization rates! I will be doing HALF DOZEN and ONE DOZEN orders! They will be local pickup only! (Knoxville). after these rough few weeks this has pushed me to continue what I love doing! PLEASE COMMENT ON THIS POST TO LET ME ONOW IF INTERESTED!

Due to unforeseen circumstances…. Mottled silkies will not be available this year… I appreciate all the love and support I’ve received these past few months and hate how I am unable to provide mottled. Lavender may still be in the works but I can not fulfill large orders so it will have to be on a first come first serve basis. I am sorry for this roadblock in everyone’s wants this year. I just hope you all understand and still support the little I can provide this year. I am going to need to take the remainder of the season for growing my breeder flocks… like I said this is what is best for my business (and sanity) at the moment and I hope to have mottled next year.

New coop, who dis? 😆🤪

Everyone has officially been moved after the big downsize and has left so much room for my growouts now! This is a combination of a few of my small growout groups so fingers crossed everyone gets along!
