Barrel Aged Stoutย 

Gourmand is a collaborative blended stout born from a weekend at the Ryder Cup, where convos between Xul Beer Company Other Half Brewing & Side Project Brewing turned into one of our most interesting stout projects to date. Each brewery exchanged barrel aged stouts, creating unique three-way blends at our respective breweries. The final version combines stouts aged 18 to 29 months in a variety of oak barrels before being conditioned with Cook Islands vanilla, Black Truffles, and Caviar.ย 

While unconventional on paper, each ingredient was used with restraint, adding subtle layers of depth and savory complexity while allowing the character of the barrels to remain firmly in the spotlight.ย
