Tried my hand at sugar cookies with royal icing today!! Ive never done royal icing before. They turned out so nice though. Of course they aren’t as pretty as I’d like but they are so cute!! I’m going to make more the week of Christmas for the holiday. I’m so happy and proud of myself!!

Hello friends,
We have been sort of hands off on this page while we created our new page but I wanted to take a moment to let you know whats going on. We have created a new page for everyone to go and follow but since we haven't seen as many of you move over to the new page as we would like, we have decided to keep both pages. We will put the same videos up on both so we don't lose the followers on this page while gaining more on the other. So, stay tuned for videos this week as I am recovering from being under the weather. Also, with the holidays being around the corner stay tuned for our holiday prep!!! Happy Monday!!!!!

Charlie choosing his sweater to stay warm!! After I rewatched it I realized he originally was wanting the red and white one but thats okay he looked good in blue. Most days he comes to me asking for a sweater so it's fun letting him choose which one he feels makes him more handsome!!!

Hello everyone, so after careful consideration we have decided to create a new page based on the heart of our operation. Our homesteading life! We will start this adventure for the winter in our Iowa home then come spring sell and move to Montana. Our puppies are a big part in the adventure but they arent our entire focus anymore. We were in the process of trying too rebrand but with facebook rules they denied certain changes. So, we are unable to attempt changes for 60 days, in that case I need to know if I were to create a new account with the reflected changes would our current followers be kind enough to follow our new account?
