This is our 8th year farming year around for our Garden Delivery CSA, which allows our members to order via email on a week
ly basis. There's no minimum order, no requirement to order every week, no sales tax! Five delivery locations. The Good Earth Farmers are eight small, family-owned farms (no employees) in Jefferson County, TN, just east of Knoxville. We grow all our food according to the best organic practices--no pesticides, herbicides, synthetic fertilizers or GMO seeds. We cooperate with each other to provide our members with a greater variety of produce. We offer vegetables, including many heirloom varieties and eggs from free-to-roam hens. This year we also have local,raw honey and local mushrooms. Every week we publish a free email newsletter with recipes, gardening tips and "news from the farm." In addition to customer favorites,we grow many greens and other veggies not often seen in local markets. Everything is hand-harvested by us within a day or less of delivering it to you. Examples of our produce selection: in mid June 2014-- broccoli florets,French fingerling potatoes, two varieties of cabbage, red beets, green beans, Swiss chard, turnips, yellow squash and zucchini, cucumbers, beets, potatoes,pickling cukes, Texas Sweet onions, garlic and a variety of fresh herbs. By July we had ripe cherry and full-size tomatoes. In the fall we still had tomatoes, several varieties of peppers and string beans, followed by butternut and other winter squash and greens. We now (January 2015)have spinach, kale, Dinosaur kale, mustard greens, Hakurei turnips, green onions, local raw honey, fresh and dried mushrooms and more. No GMO, of course! We also make all-natural, hand-crafted vegan soaps. Our food is grown with care for the Earth, and for you!
