🇪🇸 VATAN TORO 2021 — Bodegas Ordonez, Spain
96 points Vinous. Ranked #45 in the 2025 Top 100. From 100+ year old ungrafted vines in Spain’s ancient Toro region — this is serious juice. Violets, lavender, dark plum, espresso, and velvety tannins that go on forever. A wine worth savoring.

🇦🇺 TUFF NUT PET-NAT — Delinquente Wine Co., Australia
For the dad who doesn’t take himself too seriously. This natural, lightly sparkling pét-nat is made from the only Bianco d’Alessano vines in Australia — tropical pineapple, honeysuckle, preserved lemon, and a crisp savoury finish. Low ABV, high fun.

Tequila Tuesday! Additive Free and good producer!

Wild Common Blanco & Reposado just landed at Merchants Wine & Spirits, both additive-free, both made at the legendary Cascahuin distillery (NOM 1123) in El Arenal, Jalisco under Master Distiller Salvador “Chava” Rosales.

The Blanco is crisp, clean agave with citrus, white pepper, and a smooth mineral finish. The Repo is aged in hand-selected bourbon barrels with vanilla, roasted pecans, and raw honey layered on top. The #1 rated reposado in blind tasting, and now on our shelf.

🔵 BLUEGRASS BLUE CORN 7 YEAR
Made with non-GMO Kentucky-grown blue corn, this isn’t your average bourbon. On the nose you get sweet cornbread, honey, caramel, and a touch of apple cider. The palate delivers creamy sweetness, baking spice, subtle blueberry, and a rich earthy depth that only blue corn can give you. The finish is long and warming with black pepper spice and barrel char. Unique. Approachable. A must-try.
💚 ELKWOOD RESERVE 9 YEAR TOASTED OAK
This one is serious bourbon. Aged 9 years and finished in toasted oak barrels, the nose opens with grape jelly, blueberry pie, dried raisins, and cooked cherries, yes, really. The palate is smooth and rounded with cinnamon, dark chocolate, and warm baking spices. The finish is long, mellow, and beautifully balanced with chocolate and oak. At cask strength, it drinks way more gently than it has any right to.
