The CACKLE I cackle when people say we only work two days a week and how nice that must be! 😂

Guys. Our store hours are Friday and Saturday, 10-4. That does NOT mean we only work two days a week. 🤣

The amount of work that goes into having a fully stocked Cake Shop is hard to explain unless you’ve done it yourself. We work long hours and early mornings, and because everything has to be made fresh, there is SO much that happens behind the scenes. The oven waits for no one!

I can’t even tell you how many days I go without breakfast and barely drink any water because I’m just trying to get everything done. There simply isn’t time to stop, sit down, or even catch your breath. And lately, it’s been especially crazy.

In the last year, we have DOUBLED our team and we STILL can’t seem to produce enough to keep up with demand!

I am beyond grateful for that kind of support, truly. But please understand that this job is physically demanding, mentally exhausting, and a constant race against the clock. Those two days you see us open are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the work that goes on behind the scenes.

To the customers who recognize that, who are patient with us, and who appreciate the work that goes into everything we make, THANK YOU. We appreciate you more than you know! 💚

And to anyone who thinks we only work two days a week… I welcome you to come job shadow me for a week! 😂🫶🏻

Well… you guys did it. You bought EVERY single piece of German Chocolate cake. I’m in total disbelief. I even had a backup slab in case of an emergency and… you bought that too.
Well done. ✊🏼

Coming at you from the Cake Shop after yet another CRAZY amazing day! 🫶🏻

We’re sold out of quite a few things, but we still have some goodies left! Raspberry Torte Mousse Cups, Milky Bars, Poke Cake, Carrot Cake, and a few sad, lonely scones. 😂

We also have just a handful of Chocolate Chip Cookies and Pumpkin Chip Cookies left, plus a few more Mrs. Jenkins Mousse Cups and PB Mousse Cups!

So if you’ve been thinking about stopping by, now’s your chance! We close at 4pm, and what’s left is what’s left! 💚

You guys love the Milky Bars! I baked more this morning for you. 🫶🏻 Scones and cinnamon rolls looking real good too! See you soon!

Shop opens at 10!

Lots of amazing women, and I’m honored to be included! I had no idea I was featured, so what a fun little surprise! ☺️❤️

I blacked out and made wayyyyyy more German chocolate cake slabs than I ever have. 😂

Last time I made these, I swore up and down that there was NO WAY they would all sell… and… they did. Let’s see if that happens again. 🤪
