Its moving day! We're moving corn from our drying bin to another storage bin. In between, Dad is hauling extra corn to another local farmer for livestock feed. Its a choreographed dance of machinery that we do every year.

Bought some young Black Angus cattle on Friday. Beef prices are at historic highs, so that means cattle prices are at record highs as well. These cost me almost double what I paid at this time last year.

A rainbow spanned the farm on Monday night. The rain is great for the corn and soybeans, but we could use a break to bale some hay and cut oats.
