Plastic, quick-brewing tea cups spilling out of a landfill. This image of waste and environmental doom was what lingered in the back of our minds every time we made a cup of tea. The guilt haunted our otherwise pleasant tea-drinking moments. Then we learned quick-brewing plastic container waste created last year alone could circle the earth 10.5 times. And it suddenly beca

me clear: we had to do something about it. That’s when 10th Avenue Tea was born. Our goal was to create an innovative way to brew one cup of tea at a time without fillers or preservatives. No more soggy tea bags. No more loose tea and strainers. We just wanted a simple way to enjoy a healthy cup of tea. We are founders Ann Foley and Morgan Walsh, sisters-in-law and tea-lovers on a mission to enjoy tea in an entirely new way. Ann is an entrepreneur, environmentalist, and stay-at-home mom to four children in Chicago; Morgan is an actress, writer and mom to three in Los Angeles.
