I spy with my little eye... a new addition to the farm! We're thrilled to announce that our quail have finally started laying eggs! 🥚✨

It’s been such a short, but long journey watching things come full circle: from receiving donated eggs, to hatching them ourselves, and now seeing them lay on their own!

This is our “why” in homesteading. ❤️❤️❤️

Welcome to Brown’s Family Acres! ❤️

Let us re-introduce ourselves:

Thanks to a recent tag, we’re thrilled to see new followers joining our community! For those who don’t know us yet, we’re a mil to mil couple stationed in North Carolina with a love for homesteading! 🫡

We post just the right amount of fun and informative content — enough to keep you engaged without junking up your feeds. Here on the farm, we prioritize delicious meat chickens, fresh farm eggs, and occasionally beef and pork products! 🐄🐖🐓🥚

Thank you for being a part of our journey! 🥹
