We have a lovely litter of Anatolian Shepherd livestock guard dog puppies that will be available soon. 5 male puppies will be available. We are no longer offering them through Good Dog because it seems to draw mostly people looking for pets and while they make great family dogs the generations of breeding them as livestock guard dogs is our main focus. This entire litter is brindle. There are 5 male puppies available. They will be ready to go the first of June and have vet check, 1st puppy shots and be wormed. Mom is a black brindle and dad is a fawn. Pm for more pictures and info.

Some ewes have photogenic families. This 2 yr old ewe didn’t lamb as a yearling but made up for it by giving us 3 ewe lambs this morning! She’s a very attentive mother. I love that about the Katahdin breed.

Lambing 2026 officially started!
So did becoming great grandparents to a little boy! Tave is a keeper even though his big sister Lilly wanted to trade the baby for a puppy, until she saw the baby. She kicked into little mommy mode though and is glad she has a brother!

As of January 1 we will have no bred ewes available. They are in their last 5-6 weeks of pregnancy and we will not move them in the most crucial part of their pregnancy. Starting in March we will offer a limited number of families (ewe and her lambs). Picture is a family in 2025.

I had this crazy dream I put old tires on the fence between my ram lambs. So today we were moving rams from their ewes and I thought I’d hang one tire. It needs more than baking twine but the results were hilarious! Ran out of daylight before we replaced twine with cable.

Skip the high price of buying lamb that you don’t know how it was raised, where it came from, and if it’s been given antibiotics or hormones. We have just processed two lambs we can tell you the stories about from birth to harvest. USDA inspected, raised on alfalfa with a little bit of oats, Katahdins. Fed to be lower in omega 6’s, never had antibiotics, born and raised in the farm lamb. These have that wonderful, milder Katahdin lamb flavor that’s become so popular. Hanging weight was 94 # and 96 #. Traditional cuts with all legs of lamb being boneless. But the whole lamb, half a lamb, or certain cuts of lamb. Organ cuts are also available, including lamb fries (oysters). Prices vary according to what buyer wants or doesn’t want but cheaper than the grocery store because there’s no middle man,
