If you haven’t ever stopped in La Porte Feed and Supply go by and say hi and see what all they offer. Shop there and support a local family. Even if you just buy your dog food there rather than the big store, it makes a difference.

I forgot to post my finished products! The chickens came out at 163 at the breast and 175 at the legs and the brisket had to be rescued because I got busy playing with Levi and the pellets ran out and I had to transfer it to the oven and finish in the oven. At least it already had a bark and was wrapped and over 180f. 🤷🏻‍♂️ life happens! It all turned out great and I’m definitely no pro, so anyone can make good bbq, even when life happens.

I went by Stark Bros Beef Shop over off of Freeport st. And I10 today. I always like going there. One nice thing is that they always have smaller briskets for when I want brisket, but not 15 pounds of it. I also always keep their jalapeno deer sausage in my freezer. I’m gonna smoke this brisket and a couple of chickens Sunday. I hope yall have a nice Father’s Day, and we would sure love to see you at Eureka Heights Brew Co tomorrow, Saturday the 20th to visit us and enjoy the event there.
