It’s been a little over 3 years since I walked away from a 15 year career. We started this adventure with very little time to prepare. Two weeks from@giving my notice and work till jumping head first into being a full time farmer! Everyday I am more and more grateful for this incredible life and being able to grow food for other families! The last 3 years have been amazing and I can’t wait to see continues growth!! Thank you to everyone that has supported and followed us! 2nd Ave Farms wouldn’t be here without all of you!! 🤍

It’s been a quiet summer on social media. I can promise you that it has been a quiet summer here on the farm! Lots of sunshine and not much water! It’s made this summer extremely busy and challenging. But we are still here and still working to grow the best food for your family!

A smidge late because you know 🙄 life. Mama welcomed 15 little piglets on Wednesday afternoon. She started birthing in her mud hole before we got there to help move her into a dry area. 1 little piglet was unable to out of under her in the mud and didn’t make it. Which is always hard to see. She succeeded in birthing the other 14 without complications! I am so grateful for Mama because she is a very good mama pig! All her babies are doing well 🤍

Seeing the farm through her eyes is incredible! Very neat to watch her walk around with the camera and then edit them to her style. She did an amazing job capturing the spirit of farm life!
