After 24 years at the same place, you’re lucky enough to meet and work with some truly amazing people. ❤️So when I came home today and found a package waiting for me, I was completely surprised. 🥺

Inside were some of the most thoughtful gifts from Charlie—a gorgeous hand-painted chicken picture that had been in her family, a hilarious fleece pig hat, the sweetest vintage cow jigsaw puzzle, and little milk bottles that are absolutely adorable. 🐔🐷🐄

I’m in love with every single piece, but what means the most is that she thought of me when deciding where these family treasures should go. The kindness, memories, and love behind them make them priceless. ❤️

Sometimes the best part of a job isn’t the work itself—it’s the friendships and connections you make along the way. Thank you, Charlie, for such a thoughtful surprise. I’ll treasure these pieces for years to come. ❤️🥰

One of my favorite parts of this life is waking up, looking out the window, and seeing the herd peacefully grazing in the pasture. 🐮❤️

And in the evenings, there’s nothing better than sitting on the swing, listening to the sounds of the farm, and watching them slowly make their way across the field as they eat. It’s simple, but it’s the kind of peace I never knew I needed.

The chores are endless, the days are long, and farm life isn’t always easy—but moments like these make every bit of it worth it. 🌾✨

Reba and June are settling into their new two-tier rabbit hutch and I think it’s safe to say they’re loving it! 🐰❤️

Now they get to spend their days out in the orchard, soaking up the fresh air, enjoying the sights, and living their very best bunny lives. 🌳☀️

Big things happening on the farm this weekend! 🌱🐮

We finally turned part of the herd out to pasture, and there’s nothing better than watching them kick up their heels and enjoy some fresh grass after spending time in the barn. Right now we have 10 head out on pasture, including 3 ladies that are still keeping us waiting on calves. 👀🤞🏻

Now the daily routine includes pasture checks, baby watch, and plenty of time spent making sure everyone is happy where they belong. 😂

For now, we’re soaking up the sunshine, green grass, and all the excitement that comes with this season on the farm. ❤️🌾

Small wins turn into big harvests. ❤️🌱

Tonight’s project: cleaning out the berry patch! I spent some time tackling the raspberries and blackberries, pulling w**ds and giving them a little TLC. Then K came through with a load of mulch, so I started to spread that around too. 🙌🏻

It may not look like much to some people, but these little jobs add up. Every w**d pulled, every wheelbarrow of mulch spread, and every hour spent outside is an investment in future harvests. 🍓🫐

Now the berries have a fresh start, and hopefully they’ll reward us later this summer with baskets full of goodness. ❤️
