Reliez Valley Vineyards Reliez Valley Vineyards, a small vineyard and winery in Northern California, combines technology and attention to detail to craft fine wines.

The Rey Family brings five generations of California agricultural heritage to wine growing in the Reliez Valley of Lafayette. Our vineyard occupies the same site where the Rossi Family first grew wine grapes over 100 years ago. This sunny southwest slope of sandy soil, rich in marine fossils, combines with the cool evening breezes to create ideal growing conditions. With respect for the history of our site we proudly practice sustainable farming.

Harvest Season Is Here! 🍇

Big changes are happening at Reliez Valley Vineyards. — owner, winemaker, and proud new operator of our latest game-changing addition: a state-of-the-art destemmer and incline conveyor system. ⚙️

This new setup will completely transform how we move fruit from the vineyard to the fermenter. Buckets and lugs will go directly from the scale to the conveyor hopper with no manual intervention. Instead of grape slush going into the tanks, we’ll now have gently cracked whole berries. Everyone wants processes to be better, faster and cheaper, but two out of three ain’t bad 🙌🏻

The 2025 Harvest Season kicks off this weekend, and we can’t wait to show you how this incredible equipment comes to life. Stay tuned for more photos and videos of the full setup in action. 📸
