Our group of spring ewe lambs we kept back. Each year we learn, better our management & practices, and improve! I’m proud of this little group, and can’t wait to see next year’s crop out of our registered ram.

For me stability falls very high on the priority list in what I seek in an Australian Cattle Dog. I think this is an integral piece of a working dog. I believe both genetics & foundational training are key factors that influence stability & neutrality. Today I pulled the girls out at 4:30AM, and we hit the road on a 3 hour trip to a highly recommended diagnostic vet for a second opinion on Rika’s injury. Super proud of how these girls handled their environment!

My girl ❤️

Tonight I tried to get stock up and sort off some goats to sell without a dog. The goats gave me the middle hoof. Abby to the rescue. I do always love getting to show off a bit when buyers come too 🙂

There was a time where I avoided pulling her out to help because it was more a mess than helpful. We’ve come so far ❤️

Trying to be better at posting on this page. It’s that time of year where the window of time where the heat lets up a bit before dark is pretty slim. Trying to make the best of it!

I shared to my personal page, but also wanted to share here. A little glimpse of progress with Abby. She’s really such a fun happy dog that loves to be out there working stock!
