Who can turn down bacon with dinner? This dish is a winner. Hey Folks it's the Bee and BBQ Farmer over at Hoedown Farm in Boulder, Colorado. I am finishing challenge Pork Bundle challenge with showing you this bacon quiche dinner that we had at the farm. I challenged myself to cook through the non-GMO pork bundles that we sell. So, this dinner was perfect. We used our fabulous eggs from our layers and beautiful bacon from our pigs, a red pepper from our garden, and lots of other veggies and cheese from the store. Hey Folks, It's the Bee and BBQ Farmer over at Hoedown Farm in Boulder, Colorado. It's still really dry out here. The sheep still need to eat. We give them tree fodder aka tree crops. It's not just the fruit that's nutritious.

Hi Everyone, I had to fire up the smoker and get the pork chops and pork shoulder on the smoker. It was good the first time. Why wouldn't it work again. And you know what it did. Here are some shots of those juicy meats well smoked.

This is just an ordinary moment where I'm collecting our good-for-you eggs and raw honey and packing bags for our customers for pickup. The flowers weren't part of the order - just the counter. Let us know if you are interested in flowers. We have more zinnias. 😉

Hey People, it's Bee and BBQ farmer here at Hoedown Farms in Colorado. Let's do this. It's time for episode 3, I made kafta. It's a Lebanon inspired, backed gyro of sorts. This was an instant classic with our farm children. They loved it. I actually used two pounds of ground pork. The rainbox veggies were good - as always and that tzatziki hit the spot. It was really easy and this is definatley a meal you can do on weeknight. I think mixing the meat took 15 minutes and I baked it for about 20 minutes.
