Saw this Jackfruut at KC’s. and got real look at it. The outer shell is very prickly so be very careful handling it.
Please le me know what you eat it with and how do you prepare it. Total mystery to me. I have heard they are awful but $18.99 is a lot to pay for awful even if students are eating them'

I enjoyed watching Yellowstone and now I’m in the middle of watching The Duttons. I spotted this Frozen dinner from the Yellowstones and I like meatloaf and the picture in the package looked good so, I bought it.
Opened it to microwave it and here’s a picture of reality. The sauce was barbque sauce and the slices of meatloaf were not like the picture. Needless to say, not going to buy this again.

Look what Walmart had today in the Bakery. Kimberlynne snd Carly could not resist. $6 and it was chocolate inside. Pretty cute.

In Publix this week I spotted this in produce. What on earth do you use Tamarind Seeds for? Only thing I know about seeds is that there was a 1974 Julie Andrews movie called the “Tamarind Seed” which also starred Omar Shariff with his liquid eyes❤️. I checked and it’s on Amazon Prime ladies.
Anyway, if you’ve ever eaten or cooked etc with Tamarind seeds tell us about it and they’ve got them at Publix

Ok. I broke down and made the ice cream sandwich cake and it was yummy and so decadent looking. It’s worth it. It’s so simple for something that looks like you spent a lot of time preparing. The hardest part was peeling all those ice cream sandwiches and arranging them before they started melting. 🥰
I used a throw away pan cause I’m lazy. Mine had 4 ingredients: ice cream sandwiches, cool whip, chocolate and caramel sauce and nuts.

Lunch at the Cheesecake Factory was as good as always. I almost always get the cheeseburger sliders which are in the appetizer menu. Don’t know why they appeal to me but it’s downright good and cooked the way j like them, Well done and with onions. There are 4 and I handled two of them. Kimberlynne had the Asian nachos which she loved and it also is on the Appetizer menu. It was a shopping day for us and this was a fun and delicious break.

If you’re looking for an easy dessert try the Ice Cream Sandwich cake. Check out various recipes in Pinterest. The one I had used vanilla and chocolate Ice Cream sandwiches, Cool whip, chocolate and caramel sauce drizzled on top of sandwiches with chopped pecans. You can garnish with other things like chocolate chips, colorful sprinkles , cookies, toffee pieces .
You could use red,white and blue sprinkles for the 4th of July, red and green at Christmas etc. it needs to freeze at least an hour but it’s easy, pretty to look at and of course, it’s tasty.

I had sone dental surgery so I’m on a soft food diet for a few days. Carly’s birthdays at Salsa’s required a bit of searching to find the right food. I nailed it with their Chicken Tortilla soup. It’s a huge bowl of chicken stock, veggies, chicken, tortillas, cheese, garlic and other spices from Mexico.
It was delicious. Keep this in mind on one of those cold night when you’re. Looking for good soup.
