🧵🪡 Guess What’s Making a Comeback at Dixon Acres?! ❤️

You may have noticed that we’re bringing sewing, embroidery, and appliqué back into our lives and adding them to the growing Dixon Acres Family Farm lineup!

Some of you may remember our former business, Sew Wonderfully Made! We spent years creating custom embroidery, personalized gifts, appliqué designs, quilts, and all kinds of special projects for our customers.

We’re sharing some photos of our past work to give you a little peek at what we’ve done over the years! (All prior to AI lol)

We’ve already added a few items to our Square shop, and once we get our machines set up and everything organized, we’ll be adding LOTS more!

But first, WE NEED YOUR IDEAS! 💕

Just a heads-up! We will be taking a little break from baking October 22–26, so if you need to stock up on your favorite breads, now is the time! ❤️

We still have some baking availability before our break, so comment or message us to get your orders on the list!

And don’t forget… we’ve been busy adding some delicious new goodies to our menu! 😋 Our Banana Bread is back, available plain or with pecans or walnuts! We’ve also added Hawaiian Sweet Bread, Hot Honey Bread, Potato Bread, Light Rye, Pumpernickel, and more!

💐 And let’s not forget the flowers! We also have a limited number of beautiful bouquets available to order! Whether you’re treating yourself or surprising someone special, we’d love to put something pretty together for you!

A customer convinced us to pull out our banana bread recipe, and now we’re putting those ripe bananas to good use!

We have enough bananas to make 3 MORE LOAVES of delicious homemade banana bread, ready for pickup anytime tomorrow (Saturday)!

Some flowers just don’t know when to quit… and we’re not complaining! 😂🌸

Just LOOK at our celosia and gomphrena!!! 😍

Here we are in the middle of October, and these two are STILL showing off like summer just started!

❤️ Our gorgeous, fiery celosia keeps putting out those bold, colorful plumes.

💗 And the gomphrena? Those adorable little pink blooms just keep coming and coming!

And can we talk about that gorgeous, deep mahogany foliage on our celosia?! 😍 We’ve been using those beautiful leaves in our bouquets for MONTHS! They add such rich color, depth, and contrast alongside all the other flowers. Honestly, the foliage alone makes this plant worth growing!

We’ve harvested from these plants all season long, and they just keep giving us more! And our pollinators certainly aren’t complaining either! 🐝🦋

These two have absolutely earned their place in our flower fields year after year. Beautiful, hardworking, heat-loving flowers that give us SO much in return!

We’re going to enjoy every last bloom until Jack Frost decides the party is over! ❄️

Who else thinks these two deserve a standing ovation?! 👏🌸

We have a little traveling planned next week, so we wanted to give everyone a heads-up to help you plan your bread orders! ❤️

If you need fresh, homemade Dixon Acres bread this coming week, please get your orders in this weekend! We’ll be baking and filling orders for pickup through Wednesday evening, October 21st.

🚗 We will NOT have bread pickups available Thursday, October 22nd through Monday, October 26th.

We’ll be back to our regular baking and pickup schedule on Tuesday, October 27th!

So if you need to stock up on your favorites before we head out, now is the time! 🍞

This adorable Boo Bucket was made for our very own sweet MeowMeow, and let me tell you… it is an absolute STEAL at just $25!! 🎃🐈‍⬛

It is PACKED full of toys and treats, and our sweet boy has been having the BEST time playing with all his new goodies! And she even customized his bucket to match his beautiful green eyes! 🥹💚
