Some Christmas gifts just take a little longer to unwrap… 🤪🍷

Huge gratitude to Debi Cockrell for the Christmas present that I finally got to enjoy in JUNE — and it was absolutely worth the wait!

I was able to grab my best gal Jen Druskovich and head to Waters Edge Winery to “study” (and yes, I use that term loosely 😆). We sampled five different wines, and I went full WSET mode — notebook out, Le Nez du Vin in action, really dialing into aromas, structure, and balance.

And can we talk about their Rosé of Pinot Noir?! The color alone was GORGEOUS — that vibrant, luminous pink that practically glows in the glass. It was such a treat to slow down, taste intentionally, and nerd out a little.

Grateful for thoughtful friends, great wine, and study sessions that feel like pure joy. 💕

Still can’t be believe my time in Switzerland.

Made dinner for the first time in a long time… and it felt really good. 💛

Lemon garlic chicken (Pampered Chef seasoning for the win 🙌) and I needed a wine that could handle all that citrus.

Since I’m the only wine drinker in my house, I didn’t want to open anything too precious — so I tried the Kirkland Chablis that keeps getting love in one of my wine groups.

It did not disappoint.

Light. Bright. Crisp.
Green apple, white blossoms, and that clean mineral snap that makes Chablis so refreshing. It was perfect with the lemony chicken — the acidity just lifted everything.

And because I sip solo most nights, my Coravin is my best friend. One glass, zero waste. 👏

If you haven’t tried the Kirkland Chablis yet, I’d absolutely recommend it.

And speaking of Burgundy… 🍷✨
Next August I’ll be hosting a Burgundy wine cruise with AmaWaterways — sailing right through the region where Chablis is born. If sipping Chardonnay in French vineyards sounds like your vibe, you’re going to love this one.

Golden lights flickering on as dusk settled over the town.

No rush.
No schedule.
Just letting the moment feel like magic.

The landmarks are beautiful.

But it’s the quiet in-between moments that stay with you.

Me? I follow the wine back to where it began. 🍷🌿

There’s something different about pulling a glass away and realizing you’re standing in the vineyard that grew it.

It slows you down.
It changes how you taste.
It makes the whole experience feel… grounded.

Some people unwind at the gym.

I unwind in wine country.
