A little over two years ago, my parents finally opened their Orchard. The growth that has happened within the page and even the surrounding community is absolutely amazing!

They offer a little bit of everything to the Vermontville and surrounding areas. Fresh picked fruits in season such as strawberries, blackberries, red and yellow raspberries, apples, peaches, plums, apricots, cherries; veggies like potatoes, corn, tomatoes, peppers, squashes, pumpkins and garlic, just to name a few. They also have homemade jams and jellies made from all of the produce grown here on the orchard. They just recently added in a freeze dryer for freeze drying their own fruits and veggies for enjoying when normal fresh items are not in season. They have walnuts, chestnuts, Benedict Family Maple LLC products, and farm fresh butt nuggets. (aka, chicken eggs)
And every year, around Thanksgiving, my parents make the trek up north to gather fresh cut Christmas Trees to help extend the season just a little longer.

I have been privileged to have been given the opportunity to be he one to create their page, help it grow, and take many of the pictures of the orchard and my mother's amazing flower garden. I'm excited to see where 2026 takes the orchard (and me!), and I hope you'll join us for the ride!

🚨Big Announcement🚨

Today, I said goodbye to the last of my Silver Fox rabbits. I currently have only my boy Java (Silver Marten Mini Rex) here, and he will live out the rest of his days as a spoiled pet. I may or may not get him a girlfriend at some point. 😏

Truthfully speaking, it was not easy to come to this decision but I knew this was the best option.... for now. 😏

Bigger things are coming. MUCH. Bigger! I do not know when, hopefully next year, but for now, I will be enjoying Java, and all of my chickens. I will continue to post updates on various things when and if I get the time.

So it is so long, for now. I will be back. And the rabbits will be back!

And...bigger. 😏🥰

We have 14 babies available! A good friend picked up a little chocolate buck.

We have 9 bucks, 1 chocolate, 2 blue, and 6 black.

We only have 5 does, 1 chocolate and 4 blacks.

All are fully pedigreed and super sweet babes.

They were born on April 19th so they are 13 weeks old tomorrow! (July 19).

We had a scare yesterday morning, which thankfully has easily been resolved and all 15 buns are thriving.❤

I came out to check on the babies, and found all the 9 in Sweet Peas box very wrinkled. They had hardly been fed if at all and their nest was soaked in p*e. I checked Peridot and her litter was full of very plump and full bellies. So I made the decision to do something I've never done before.

I took both nest boxes out at once. I removed all of Sweet Peas babies. I immediately removed all of what was left of their nest and cleaned out the nest box as best as I could. I then refilled it with pine shavings and hay. Thankfully I had some dog fur I had saved from the last time they got defloofed. I lined the nest, then took all of Peridots babies and put them into Sweet Peas nest. Then, I went through Sweet Peas babies and took 8 of the 9 and put them into Peridots litter. That took Peridots nest to 8 babies and Sweet Peas down to 7. Or so I thought.🙃 My counting skills were not accurate so Peridot only got 6 babies, while Sweet Pea was left with TEN. 🤦‍♀️

Nonetheless, upon checking everyone this morning I am happy to report that everyone has very full bellies and it looking a lot better! I also have boosted the mama's supplements with some calf manna from Manna Pro.

My only thought for why this happened was something must have spooked Sweet Pea once she started nursing the night before so she p*ed on her nest to cover her babies scent and jumped off the nest and didn't come back to nurse.

I am very proud with both of these mama's and cannot wait to watch them grow. 💗

We have had two beautiful litters of silver fox born over the weekend!

Peridot had 6, all black.
Sweet Pea had 9, 4 black, 3 chocolate, and two blue.

It's been just about a year since I was on this page last. This last year has been one of the roughest, but also one of the best. I went through a lot of personal issues, and am heading towards a "new normal".

To everyone who was on a waiting list for a rabbit this time last year, I am so sorry it did not work out! I am ready to get back into the swing of things and have truly missed my rabbits!

A big thank you to those who have supported me this past year and especially to my good friend Brittany Smith who helped house my rabbits as I was going through everything. I could not have done this without you!

I still have my Silver Fox, and Mini Rex, and even have two potential litters due NEXT WEEK! (so stay tuned for that!)

Again, thank you all for understanding and loving me and my rabbits! We definitely appreciate you! 🙏

Some quick updates on babies!
Silver foxes turned 3 weeks old on Sunday and are beginning to eat pellets! Some are just a few ounces shy of turning 1 pound in weight😍❤
We will be keeping the largest growing Doe from the litter to continue on those fast weights with our lines.
