Meet Edna.

After so many fun name suggestions, we finally landed on the perfect one.

This 1970 Beetle is officially Edna, named in honor of the matriarch of the farm before my family purchased it. She was an incredible woman, and it just felt right to pay tribute to her in a small way.

Fun fact: Edna would have also been my husband’s great-great-aunt. My parents bought this farm from the Larson family in the 1980s, and all these years later, it’s become a Larson farm once again.

A special thank you to Edna’s granddaughter, Kari, for suggesting the name. And thank you to everyone who entered the naming contest! There were so many creative ideas, and reading through them was so much fun.

We can’t wait to give Edna her new life here at Back Four Flower Farm and surround her with the flowers she deserves. ❤️

My husband saw this little lady on Marketplace and we knew she had to join us on the farm. Slowly but surely we’ll surround this 1970 VW Beetle with blooms and she’ll be part of the you-pick vibes. She needs a name though. Comment with a name idea by 7/16, like your favorite, and the winner gets a free cup of flowers at a you-pick event in August or September!
