Say hello to my little ram, Tony Montana. (All he has is his balls and his word and he doesn’t break em for no one). Maybe you get our joke 😂😂

He’s an Icelandic ram lamb born this spring, looking for new pastures. We had intended to keep as a second breeder so we kept him intact. We decided we really only need one ram at this time.

He has been weaned off Mama and is ready to go.

On another note, anyone interested in buying some laying hens? 😅😅

Mixed bag of barnyard mix hens - 6 available.

It’s been quiet over here for the last year as I recovered from breaking my leg and surgery.

We took the downtime to reassess our family farm and see what was working for us and what wasn’t. I think a lot of times when people build their homesteads and increase their land, they tend to fill it with animals they want rather than animals that suite the land.

We’ve been on this property for almost 3 years and realized we were fighting a lot of elements to keep animals that weren’t working for us. We decided to sell our dairy cows in February, reduce our chicken flock and sold all of our egg ducks.

We are focused on improving the health of our pasture, raising sustainable meat (lamb, duck & chicken), building our family garden and teaching classes in our community to help others become more self-sustaining!

I hope to be more active on this page this spring/summer, sharing what we are building! ❤️
