I will be posting old family pictures here and i welcome anyone that has some, to feel free to post and share!!~ Im Lisa, Madges (or Aunt Dean to most of you ) oldest granddaughter, and i wanted to start this page in her honor and memory and because she handed down to me her love of family, and food and sharing the two together!!! My grandmother showed her love for us by cooking and feeding us, teaching us how to cook and by just being the strong and wonderful (ok, sometime a little mean LOL) woman she was... Granny Madge is missed terribly in our family, but i know she is in heaven, with my Matthew , taking care of him, side by side with her sisters and brothers....The first picture i have uploaded is a picture of Ruth Rebecca Owens Crews and a man i believe is her 2nd husband, name unknown to me.. if anyone has more info on this picture, please share it with us!!! I hope eveyone will post and share pictures and stories here, im very excited to give this a try... I will be posting a list of the children of Barney and Ruth in order as far as i know it.. if i have any dates wrong or left out, it was not intnetional, its because i dont know it. If anyone has a more accurate list, please share it with us.... I also spent some time with uncle Thearon at Aunt Nets house some years ago (cant remember the date) and he shared a few old stories and some family history with me that i will be posting soon..... any one with any information to add to his stories, please feel free to do so... This is a FAMILY page and i want our whole (very large and extended ) family to share in this together, to learn about our heratige, enjoy the present with each other, and look forwars to what the furure holds......
