Bees are fascinating creatures that play an essential role in our environment! Here are some interesting facts about honey bees that you might not know:

1. 6 Legs
Honey bees have 6 legs, which they use for walking, gathering pollen, and even grooming themselves!

2. 2 Compound Eyes 👀
Bees have two large compound eyes made up of thousands of tiny lenses (one on each side of their head). These eyes help them see in multiple directions at once and detect colors and patterns that are invisible to humans.

3. 3 Simple Eyes
On top of their head, bees also have 3 simple eyes that help them navigate and sense light levels, aiding in their flight and foraging.

4. 2 Pairs of Wings 🦋
Bees have two pairs of wings, which they flap rapidly (up to 200 times per second) to fly from flower to flower in search of nectar.

5. A Nectar Pouch 🍯
Honey bees have a special pouch called a nectar stomach, where they store the nectar they collect before returning to the hive to turn it into honey.

6. A Stomach
In addition to their nectar pouch, bees have a stomach where they digest the food they consume, just like humans.

Why Bees Are Important:
