We are a small homestead that make and sell both maple syrup 🍁 and honey 🍯 products. We also make a variety of candles🕯️from our beeswax 🐝.

We have rebranded to Duschee Valley Farm from our previous products Carlin's Sugar Shack and Carlin's Colonies

Dave and Marlene will be back at Lanesboro Farmer's Market tomorrow from 9am-12pm!! It is customer appreciation this week and we are so grateful for all who visit the market, our booth and purchase our honey and maple syrup products!! We enjoy visiting with you and providing you with delicious, local, healthy products to bring home. This evening we baked up some Maple Brown Sugar cookies with a maple icing. Tomorrow when you make a purchase, you may also grab a free cookie made with our maple syrup as one of the ingredients. Stop by the Lanesboro Farmer's Market.

Come and get yourself some Fillmore Co. Fair award winning honey and maple syrup!! Tomorrow, Saturday August 1st at the Lanesboro Farmer's Market at Sylvan Park from 9am - 12pm. It's also Buffalo Bill weekend in Lanesboro so come check out the Farmer's Market as well as all the other festivities!! See you there! 🍯🍁

Dave and Marlene will be at Lanesboro Farmersmarket tomorrow from 9am - 5pm!!! It is also Art in the Park, in addition to the Farmer's Market, come see the 90+ art vendors! Talent will be spread all throughout Sylvan Park in Lanesboro tomorrow! Bring your dad in celebration of Father's Day on Sunday or make sure you pick up something for Dad along the way.

We will have all of our local honey and maple syrup products available! We will also have all of our treats made from our maple syrup including: maple sugar, maple cotton candy, maple covered nuts, maple marshmallows and maple rice cereal bars! 😋

Rhubarb Fest tomorrow in Lanesboro!!! Come to the Lanesboro Farmersmarket and check out all things rhubarb as well as all the other goodies. Dave Carlin and Marlene Carlin will be there with our honey and maple syrup. We will also have our homemade Strawberry Rhubarb Fruit Leather!!! It is made special for Rhubarb Fest, come get it before it's gone!

Dave and Marlene will be at Lanesboro Farmer's Market tomorrow at Sylvan Park from 9am-12pm. We just made a new batch of Hot Pepper Honey last weekend. Our local honey is infused with our homegrown habanero peppers. It is perfect on your pizza, chicken wings, tacos, or ribs. Also give it a try in your margarita or Bloody Mary! It's sweet with a nice kick, but not overwhelmingly hot. 🍯🌶️

We went out and checked on our bee hives again today. They seem to be doing really well. We thought we would show you a little of what we are looking for when we inspect the hive to ensure that the hive is healthy and everyone is doing their job. We are still providing each hive with some sugar water as we have some flowering plants in bloom, but not many. But they are collecting some nectar and much pollen from the dandelions and a few other early flowers. In the next week or so, we'll be seeing more flowers and buds emerging providing a greater source of nectar and pollen for the bees and the sugar water will no longer be necessary.

We hope you enjoy watching and getting a small insight into the workings of a honeybee hive! 🐝
